1. Why should we consult with Global Consulting Associates?

Global Consulting Associates has the global network to work on client’s objective as the priority and to ensure this is achieved in the course of the consultants work. As such you as a client are assured of a quality outcome not by just the engaging consultant but also the expertise from specialists of different fields.

2. Don’t consultants try to stay on forever?

Most consultants may have as a major objective, the enlargement of an engagement. What we do is to get in, resolve the issues and ensure that the issues are managed so that they do not recur before we hand back and leave. We do not adopt a policy of enlarging the engagement.

3. What is the major part of the work?

We work with organizations that hope to streamline and elevate their strategic processes & human resources’ performance – such as organizational restructuring, motivating their employees in achieving the organizational goals & objectives; engaging the right person for the right job or developing a corporate culture that is vibrant and can adapt to changes promptly. As for the hospitality industry, we work with property owners and management companies to provide strategic resources for pre-openings, operations and expansion.

4. What other kinds of consulting do you do?

We also do work in management, competitive data research, marketing strategy, increasing pride in their jobs and workplace, increase levels of professionalism, productivity and top & bottom line.

5. How does it work?

We start by establishing background information. We listen for clues of strengths that the client does not really have full appreciation of and the weaknesses that overlooked in order to determine and develop the best possible answers  

6. What else?

We analyse the situation and give the client our evaluation, help the client to develop the appropriate strategy and tactics, then work to determine what the client should do. We then assist the client with the written and oral presentation.

7. What about SMEs?

In Singapore, we have consultants & appointed mentors who are specialized in working with SMEs to help them in their capability upgrading efforts and to seize growth opportunities. Together with Spring Singapore, industry players and our associate partners, we assist SMEs to strengthen their capabilities in learning and development, and to help them in building up their branding as good employers. 

8. What about training?

We do a good deal of soft-skills and professional training for those who seek for training in this area. Personal one-to-one coaching and counseling as well as facilitating in some strategic management workshops for middle to senior management. 

9. How much does it cost to engage Global Consulting Associates?

It really depends upon what kind of projects the client has assigned Global Consulting Associates to do. The range starts from as low as US$200 a day based on the scope of the project. We work on an advance retainer, and the charge is payable prior to the consultation.

10. What other charges are there?

There are no additional charges except for projects that required physical research and field work, out-of-pocket expenses or overseas traveling.

11. What promise do you make?

We promise to deliver our service to our best of knowledge, experience and tap on our networks and resources to establish the best outcome. This is more than what many consultants will provide.

12. What about meetings outside Singapore?

We literally go all over the world. Because we have only our time to sell, it is more expensive when we travel abroad to consult with clients.

13. If I want to hire you to make a presentation to the management, will you do this?

Yes, we usually make presentation to the senior management and decision maker.
